Peer Review Process
Following are policies regarding the peer review process of Makna: Jurnal Kajian Komunikasi dan Budaya.
1. An author submits an article.
2. Article is assessed by an editor.
3. Article is sent to the reviewers.
4. The review process applies a double-blind review which means the identities of reviewers and authors are concealed from each other to ensure the quality.
5. In the review process, the reviewers examine the correspondence of title, abstract, discussion (findings) and conclusions. In addition, the reviewers observes the novelty, scientific impacts and references of submitted articles.
