DAMPAK PENURUNAN DAYA BELI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENDAPATAN PEDAGANG PAKAIAN DI WILAYAH PERKOTAAN DAN PEDESAAN SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the income of clothing traders before the Covid-19 pandemic, explain the factors that cause a decrease in the income level of clothing traders, explain how the clothing merchant's strategy to survive in conditions of declining income during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method uses quantitative methods with independent test technique T-Test. The results of this study indicate that the income of clothing traders at the Harapan Jaya market and the Sukatani market is fairly crowded, the income of traders decreases during the Covid-19 pandemic, the strategy used by clothing traders is to sell their clothes on e-commerce applications and promote them on social media. The results of statistical calculations show that sig (2-tailed) is 0.001 < 0.05, which means that the hypothesis Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Market managers should conduct online sales training for market traders to expand sales and make water faucet facilities at several points in the market so that market visitors and traders do not need to go to the bathroom.
