Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the internet has on student behavior deviations in MTs. Nurul Islam with a total population of 112 students and students of MTs Nurul Islam who have committed behavioral deviations, while the number of samples studied is 51 students and students consisting of grade 7, 8, and grade 9 which are part of the object or individual- individuals who represent a population and the data obtained are based on data from Guru BP. The method used in this study is a descriptive method, namely research directed at providing symptoms, facts or events systematically and accurately regarding the characteristics of the population. The data collected is analyzed by percentage and to test the proposed hypothesis using statistical calculations using product moment correlation analysis and Likert scale, as well as significance testing using the KD test (Coefficient of Determination). From the results of the analysis using product moment correlation, it is known that rxy is 0 ,17. If it is connected with the interpretation of the correlation price, it shows that the correlation between “The Effect of the Internet on Deviant Behavior of Students in MTs. Nurul Islam in Jaya Laksana Village, Cabangbungin Sub-district, Bekasi Regency” includes a very low correlation. Ha is accepted. Thus, there is an insignificant relationship between the influence of the internet on student behavior deviations in MTs. Nurul Islam. After using product moment correlation analysis, to determine the magnitude of the influence of the internet on student behavior deviations in MTs. Nurul Islam the coefficient of determination (KD) is 2.89%. Thus, there is a deviation in the behavior of students and MTs students. Nurul Islam is 2.89% due to internet factors and the rest is determined by other factors such as environmental factors, the existence of internet cafes, and playmates.
